Program & Project Management

Plan, develop and implement the client’s program from concept through completion, establish project goals and objectives aligned with client’s mission, define project scope, budget and master schedule, oversee regulatory and development requirements, manage design process consistent with client’s program, budget and schedule, review bid packages and bid analyses, oversee/manage construction phase administration, negotiate change order requests, oversee commissioning/start-up, punch list and close-out activities.


Owner's Representation

Represent client’s interests in all matters related to project development and implementation, including client’s project obligations and management responsibilities, team solicitation and selection, contract negotiations, functional programming and user management, FF&E management, regulatory approvals and sign-offs, move-in/occupancy management, day-two work and lessons learned.


Business Advisory/Management Training

Counsel and advise clients regarding business and transactional matters; recommend to clients methods to improve processes and procedures related to their capital programs and budgets. Create project management training programs for client's staff highlighting project development and risk management considerations. Perform due diligence surveys and assessments related to project development.


Project Development

Assist client in preparing and creating a comprehensive development work plan, including an overall management framework, regulatory work plan, project budget and schedule and financing in connection with the client’s masterplan and capital program.


Budgeting/Estimating/Financial Management

Prepare comprehensive project budgets and estimates inclusive of all development costs at the conceptual, programmatic, schematic, design development and construction phases. Prepare comparative cost studies and change order check estimates to ensure value received for dollars paid. Prepare and manage Project cost and financial reports, inclusive of forecasts and projections, cash flows and sources/uses studies.


Claims Analyses/Management/Negotiations

Prepare and implement processes and procedures to document and track cost events and potential claims. Negotiate on client’s behalf to favorably resolve claims and disputes. Exercise claims avoidance and risk management measures to “save” the client from needless payments for unfounded claims. Prepare reports and recommendations to document findings.


Project Audits, Change Order Reviews & Negotiations

Perform comprehensive and selective construction audits of direct, indirect and other project costs. Analyze, review, and negotiate change order proposals to determine the fair value with respect to contract entitlement, material quantities and costs, labor resources and rates, general conditions, mark-ups and schedule impacts. Work with client's internal and outside auditors.


Litigation Support/Expert Testimony

Assist and support client’s legal counsel related to legal matters associated with client’s capital projects and development. Provide expert testimony and opinions on behalf of client in connection with litigation related to client’s capital projects and development.
